ON THE PASSING OF ELDNER ALVIN POWELL

Left to mourn is: The love of his life for 51 years, Evylee Powell; five sons, Elvis, Gabe, Kerby, Curtis, and Al; their spouses Carline, Jackie, Sally, Annie and Zoraida; three daughters, Sheila, Daphine & Desiree and their spouses, Joey and Christopher. Also twenty-one (21) grand children; and seven (7) great grand children. One brother – Royce McConnell Powell, affectionately known as Mackie, And one sister – Merle Carby;
Also with a host of other relatives, friends and church family
Atlantic Caribbean Union expresses condolences to the Powell family on the passing Elder Alvin Brandis Powell, the patriarch of the family and a member of the George Town Seventh-day Church in the Grand Cayman. Our prayer s and sympathies are extended to wife, Evylee, and his sons Elvis, Gabe, Kerby, Curtis, and Al; his daughters Sheila, Daphine & Desiree, and his entire family and the family of the Cayman Islands Conference.

His son Pastor Al Powell, is the executive secretary of the Cayman Island s Conference, and Personal Ministries director of ATCU and his daughter Shelia Woods is the women’s ministries director and auditor for the Cayman Islands Conference. Funeral Service for Elder Alvin Powell will be held Sunday June 30th at 3:00 pm at the George Town SDA Church in Grand Cayman.
