TO OUR EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS
We extend the warmest welcome to our 2023 mid-year meetings being conducted under the theme Let Him Lead the Way. Since 2020, the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to have all our meetings virtually or in a hybrid format. We can now give grateful praise to God, however, that with the pandemic conditions now changed for the better, we are finally able to consider returning to the in-person format for our 2023 year-end meetings.
We are happy that you have joined us online via the Zoom platform for our mid-year meetings. The agenda for our meetings this year will include important reports, voted actions, and new items coming from the recently concluded 2023 Spring Meetings of the General Conference which were held in a hybrid format under the theme I Will Go – Be His Witness. In addition, we will be considering items coming from the voted actions of the executive committee of the Inter-American Division.
We invite you to pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon us and these meetings so that we may be united in mission as we seek to proclaim Jesus Christ to a world that is in gross darkness, ignorance, and great pain. Let us join the world church in “Mission Refocus” as we engage in these meetings.
God has blessed us with the grand privilege of being alive in these challenging times, and we thank you for the phenomenal contribution that you make to the cause of Christ.
