Pastor Johnson Speaks At Project Launch

By Cheryl Rolle

Pastor Leonard Johnson, president of the Adventist Church in the Atlantic Caribbean region, will be the guest speaker at the Church’s official launch of the Great Controversy Project on Sabbath, March 3, 2012, at the 11:00 a.m. service at the Centreville Seventh-day Adventist Church, Nassau, Bahamas. Pastor Paul Scavella, president of the Adventist Church in the South Bahamas and host pastor, will also officiate.
A program of the Adventist World Church, the project involves the mass distribution of copies of the book The Great Controversy, written by Ellen G. White, to friends, neighbors, family members, the community, and the reading public in general. The purpose of the project is to acquaint readers with the events described in the book and to assure them that one day the conflict between good and evil will end, with Christ defeating Satan and evil.

Other Adventist Churches in the Atlantic Caribbean region will be launching the project within the first week in March and will begin to distribute the 30,000 copies of the book that were ordered for this territory.
