ACUM Trains Executive Secretaries and Administrative Assistants

By: Communication Department

The Atlantic Caribbean Union (ACUM) conducted a training seminar for all executive secretaries, associate secretaries, and administrative assistants in the secretariat on Thursday, September 20, 2012, to familiarize them with the new website created by the Inter-American Division secretariat.
The special presenter for the training session was Pastor Eli Henry, the executive secretary of the Inter-American Division.

The new website has been created to allow for the sharing and accessing of relevant information and to provide a viable platform for tools and resources that would enable the secretaries to operate in a more efficient manner. Mrs. Bridgette Bastian, administrative assistant to the executive secretary of the South Bahamas Conference, noted that the seminar will benefit her greatly as it helps her to better organize and keep accurate records of the staff information and church statistics in an electronic format.
The session was very interactive and hands on as Pastor Henry took the time to ensure that the data from each field within ACUM was correctly entered on the new website. It is expected that the new website will be fully operational by the beginning of 2013.

Personnel from the Atlantic Caribbean Union office, Cayman Islands Conference, North Bahamas Conference, South Bahamas Conference, and the Turks and Caicos Islands Mission were in attendance at this important seminar.
