Evangelistic Deployment throughout IAD and ATCU

By: Communication Department/ATCU

In a continuing focus on the mission of the church and as part of the Year of Laity, the Atlantic Caribbean Union (ATCU) will join the 21 other unions across the Inter American Division (IAD), in launching and hosting various evangelistic campaigns during the first quarter 2013. In an evangelistic deployment among the unions, each union will send one director to another union and receive one director from another union.
Presently, Pastor R. Danforth Francis of the Caribbean Union Conference (CUC) which is headquartered in Trinidad is conducting a crusade in the Atlantic Caribbean Union. The field chosen for this event is the Turks and Caicos Islands Mission (TCIM). Pastor Francis, who is also the Personal Ministry and Sabbath School director of CUC, along with the members of the Seventh-day Churches in Providencalies, are engaged in the “Hope for Turks and Caicos Gospel Campaign.” In addition, Pastor Leonard Johnson, president and ministerial director of ATCU will be launching out in an evangelistic outreach entitled “Lessons from the Past in the Belize Union.

In the Cayman Islands conference, guest evangelist Pastor Alonzo Smith and the members on Grand Cayman, are in the midst of the Family Life Enrichment Series. According to Cayman Islands Conference Communication Department, on Sabbath February 9, 84 precious souls were baptized at the West Bay Public Beach.

However, the evangelistic fervor continues throughout ATCU as the laity has taken up the mantle. Highlighted below are just some of the evangelistic meetings that will take place between February and April 2013, across the various conferences and missions in ATCU.
