ATCU Members to Engage in Annual Mass Book Distribution

Every year, the Seventh-day Adventist World Church produces a special easy-to-read resource known as the Missionary Book of the Year designed to give readers hope and encouragement in a chaotic world and which Seventh-day Adventists around the world will share with others.

The 2022 missionary book is titled The Final Hope. The book leads the reader to find in passages of the Bible true and final hope.  Pointing to those passages containing the messages of the three angels of Revelation 14, The Final Hope helps the reader to see that all the crises that will occur at the end of the world are in reality an indication that a new heaven and a new earth are about to come, where there will be no more fear nor pain.

On Impact Day, a day when church members participate in a massive literature distribution of the missionary book in their communities, The Final Hope will be shared far and wide. This year, Impact Day is slated for April 16, 2022, and members across the Atlantic Caribbean Union (ATCU) are preparing to go into their communities to share this book of hope with others.

According to Pastor Peter Kerr, president and Publishing Ministries director of ATCU, “Every member is encouraged to take to the streets and go from house to house, from office to office, from business place to business place until every copy has been distributed. People are longing for what we have, and we must share the hope with them.”  Additional information about Impact Day can be obtained from your local conference office.

With a membership of 33,130, ATCU, which is headquartered in Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas, comprises four fields, namely, the Cayman Islands Conference, the North Bahamas Conference, the South Bahamas Conference, and the Turks and Caicos Islands Conference.  In addition, Northern Caribbean University, which is located in Mandeville, Jamaica, is jointly owned and operated by ATCU and the Jamaica Union.
