Under the theme “Treasure in Broken Vessels for Fulfillment of the Mission,” leaders and members from across the Atlantic Caribbean Union (ATCU) will attend the annual SeLD (Segmented Leadership Development) Conference of the Inter-American Division (IAD) during July 24-27, 2023, in Miami, Florida, United States. The conference is designed for leaders who serve as administrators, department directors, human resources directors, church pastors, and church elders in unions, conferences, institutions, and churches. The event this year will be conducted in a hybrid format, facilitating both in-person and virtual attendance.
Through interactive delivery methods, attendees will explore the best practices for their leadership roles and leave with information that will assist them in developing and perfecting their leadership skills. The organizers of the event hope to achieve the following objectives: To inspire each church leader to experience growth in his or her personal relationship with Christ; To motivate each elected leader to achieve greater effectiveness in performing his or her responsibilities; and To encourage greater collaboration among leaders in the fulfillment of the mission of the organization.
Each local conference in ATCU has been allocated a quota of attendees at the SeLD Conference. Church pastors and church elders are particularly invited to take advantage of this opportunity for leadership growth as they seek to fulfill Christ’s mission.
