The Atlantic Caribbean Union (ATCU) will be represented by administrators, departmental directors, pastors, educators, office professionals, church officers, and emerging leaders at the Segment Leadership Development (SeLD) Conference 2026 scheduled for July 27–30 in Panama City, Panama. Participants were required to complete their registration by the June 15 deadline.
Organized by the Inter-American Division (IAD), SeLD is the premier leadership development event within the division, uniting leaders for intensive training, spiritual renewal, networking, and strategic discussions aimed at advancing the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The ATCU has been allocated 80 participant slots, creating a remarkable opportunity for leaders from The Bahamas, Cayman Islands, and Turks and Caicos Islands to engage in this transformative experience, either in person or online.
Investing in Leadership for Mission
Leadership development remains a top priority as Seventh-day Adventist leaders navigate evolving ministry landscapes while remaining dedicated to the mission of making disciples and preparing people for Christ’s return. SeLD is specifically designed to enhance leadership effectiveness at all levels of the Church. Through keynote presentations, practical workshops, collaborative learning sessions, and spiritual enrichment, participants will gain tools and insights applicable to their local ministry contexts.

One of the primary benefits of the SeLD Conference is the opportunity for leaders from diverse cultures and ministry contexts to learn from each other. Participants will engage with church leaders and practitioners from the Inter-American Division and beyond, exchanging ideas, sharing successful ministry models, and exploring innovative strategies in areas such as discipleship, evangelism, leadership, administration, and community engagement.
